...so she (the girl in the pictures) was probably among my list of "top ten beauts i'd love to photograph." who knew here husband would be equally cool in real life AND in front of the camera. and remember that "there's this glorious meadow, and the fall leaves are dying," nervous breakdown i had a few posts ago? check and check. problems solved. plus a surprise ingredient to add to the awesomeness: my new best utah friend, and photographer extraordinaire, BECKY freaking EARL came along to the happy party. see her amazing work here. and oh, i almost forgot the best part. me own love, my husband (not pictured) was along, shooting and supporting, or in other words, taking all of my bossing around like a real champ (thanks marty, i love you). mix it all together with a semi chilly evening in the mountains and whattya get (junior high cheerleading really paid off mom, didn't it?) that's right, its the best shoot ever.
just look at how they knew to perfectly place themselves!
you didn't know an apple heart could create such drama, did you? well, sabel did.
notice how the apples are checking off their cheerful love.
in this scene we were all, "quick, let's grab some sweet shots with the crazy fall leaves, before we book it to catch the good light in the meadow."
i think that when i said, "book it!" they thought i meant, "walk really slowly and beautifully toward the meadow."
ahhh yes, here we are. kiss marks the spot.
they make it look easy, don't they?
a quick and momentous balloon release.
sabel (not her real name) claimed the reason she was, cough, late to our session was because she had to have the perfect little bouquet. how could i be mad at her when i saw this little number?
those who are wondering, please take note on how to work the camera.
bliss.
...what to say here that would be appropriate?
this shot just makes me feel happy.
come to my picnic.
but do so in a stylish manner.
this is getting way to mystery science theater, isn't it?
that's right, they're both looking at the camera, two pictures in. a. row.
but then david had to steal some camera time.
sabel thought it was cute, obviously.
how about some music?
that's better.
hello!!!!
adorable vintage dress...until you realize how many buttons must be done up =)
what? he can't help that he's a rockstar.
artsy, no?
but it wasn't her she really wanted photographed
it was mr. bear. you heard me.
and then they walked off into the...mountain.
